So Much Fun, and Credit, Too
Research: What Parents
like about the Saturday Enrichment Program, by Paula Olszewski-Kubilius,
Ph.D., & Seon-Young Lee, Ph.D., Fall 2003
The fall,
winter and spring registration fees include a nonrefundable application
fee of $50. Some classes may require an additional minimal investment
for materials. Full payment is required with the application. A refund
is given (minus the $50 application fee) if the chosen class or alternative(s)
is canceled or full, or if the student is not accepted into the program.

Please make your check or money order payable to the Center for Talent
Development with your child's name in the memo line, and mail completed
application (including supporting materials) to:

must include a $25 late fee. Faxed applications are accepted only after

Information
Morning classes meet from 9:00 to 11:30am, and afternoon classes meet
from 12:00 to 2:30pm. If you would like to be part of a car
pool, please designate in the appropriate space on the SEP
Application (last box under "Applicant Information"). Car pool lists are only distributed
to students whose names appear on the list.
In Evanston, SEP classes are located on the Northwestern University campus in the Technological
Institute (Tech), and in Annenberg
Hall, Lunt
Hall, and Swift
Hall. (Please see the SEP staff as you enter the Tech Institute from Sheridan Road for directions to classrooms.)
Parking spaces around campus are in high demand during football season.

number in your acceptance packet prior to the first day of class. With
the exception of Tech, these buildings are not very visible from Sheridan

Directions to Gurnee site:
Although the address is 1115 Hunt Club Road, Gurnee, the school is actually just east of Hunt Club. There are parking lots.
It is accessible as follows:
Exit 94 at Grand Avenue West (132). At the first light, turn left (south) onto Tri-State Parkway. At the first stop sign, turn right and then make an immediate right again. The Intermediate School East will be immediately in front of you. West is attached—just a little further.
Traveling east on Grand (132), turn south (right) at Hunt Club Road. At the second light, turn left onto Dada. Make an immediate right turn and then a left at the dead end. The school is just past the large parking lot on your right.
Things to do:
Warren Newport Library is 5 minutes away
Gurnee Mills is ½ mile away.
Downtown Libertyville, with a quaint shopping area is 15 minutes away.
