Creating a comprehensive, effective, and equitable gifted education program from a talent development perspective requires knowledge of best practices and informed use of resources. For administrators new to gifted education or those with experience but looking to make changes guided by the latest research and practices, Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University has developed gifted education Boot Camp.
This 15-hour training is available virtually and includes consulting time with a CTD staff member. It can also be offered locally for groups of educators from a particular school or district – making use of online, in-person, or hybrid approaches.
ISBE Professional Development Hours are available.
Susan Corwith, CTD Director; Melissa Hinshaw, CTD Assessment Coordinator; and Eric Calvert, CTD Associate Director
$495 per person; $395 per person for groups of 3 or more registered from the same school or district; $395 for current CTD instructors; $395 for current SESP students
