Talent Development in the Middle Grades

The primary and middle school years are when young people need to build their skills and expand their knowledge in their talent areas. At CTD, programming at this stage includes courses that delve deeply into subjects that advance and accelerate learning. At the same time, students are supported and guided by expert educators and program staff. Learn about our programs for grades 3-8.

Understand Your Abilities. Find Your Strengths. Chart Your Own Path.

Not every student knows their strengths or the level and pace at which they are ready to learn new content. For students looking to discover and nurture their talents, there are many ways CTD can help. For over 40 years, CTD has utilized above-grade-level testing as a tool for identifying academic ability, measuring growth, and connecting academically advanced students with resources and opportunities. But, above-grade-level testing is just one tool CTD offers to inform your talent development journey. Once your strengths are identified, CTD has tools to help you set goals and identify courses that will support your talent development.

  • Above-Grade-Level assessment (Grades 3 - 10)
  • Talent development pathways consulting
