Online Learning Empowers Students

Online courses can be particularly well suited for gifted students, allowing them to set their own pace and dive deeply into topics of strength and interest. CTD online programs provide students access to honors, AP® and enrichment courses, which may not be available in their schools, when they are ready for them.

Flexibly Paced Courses for Students and Families

CTD online programs provide learning experiences that fit busy family schedules. Courses fill the mind, create a peer network, and build life-long skills.

Online Enrichment
(Grades 3-8)

Independent, motivated learners have the chance to explore topics of interest in depth and with the support of an expert instructor. Course activities develop critical and creative thinking as students engage with content that inspires excitement and further interest in the domain.

Online Core Essentials
(Grades 3-8)

Students master essential subject-area content at a more advanced level than typically available at their grade level in school. Courses allow for academic acceleration, provide activities that encourage autonomous learning, and provide foundational, subject-area skills.

Online Honors
(Grades 6-12)

Online honors courses are available in a variety of subject areas, allow students to move at their own pace, offer high school credit through CTD, and develop self-advocacy skills essential for high school and college success.

Accelerated Summer Online
(Grades 6 - 12)

Online ASO program, for grades 6 through 12, is an excellent option for highly motivated students seeking summer opportunities for acceleration. Courses at the Honors level are taught in a compacted format. The course term will range from 9 to 11 weeks, depending on a student's enrollment date.

Through innovative school-year and summer programs both online and in-person, the Civic Education Project (CEP) offers promising young people opportunities to learn and serve in communities across the country, developing the knowledge, experience, and leadership skills they need to make a positive impact on the world.
