Nominate a Student

For a life-changing experience with CEP!

Civic Education Project Accepts Nominations

To help us identify outstanding middle and high school students with an interest in civic engagement and the potential to gain from and contribute to a CEP program, please consider nominating a student you know. View service and leadership opportunities available through CEP.

Who Can Nominate Students?

Anyone! Nominations are accepted from teachers, counselors, school administrators, youth development professionals, and CEP staff and student alumni. (Sorry, we do not accept self-nominations.)

Who Are We Looking For?

Students who are most likely to succeed in a CEP program:

  • Are currently in grades 7 through 12;
  • Can demonstrate strong academic ability;
  • Are interested in learning about communities, social issues, and civic engagement; and
  • Are mature, motivated, and display leadership potential.

What Happens After I Submit a Nomination?

Nominated students will receive recognition of their nomination (including the name of their nominator) and a personalized invitation to apply to one of our innovative school year or summer service-learning programs.

Please Note: CEP carefully safeguards the personal information of students and nominators. We will not share your contact information with any outside parties.
