This is a 6-week, asynchronous, flexibly paced course within the Online Enrichment Program. Students should expect 2-5 hours of course work per week. Session dates: January 31 - March 13, 2024.
Experience the writing workshop process through story crafting and feedback! Students will be guided in the creation and revision of their work at multiple stages as they develop and polish their stories. Course work will address fundamentals of writing, including analysis of characters, plot, and setting as well as grammar rules and effective sentence and paragraph development. Writing completed throughout the week will be discussed in live online class sessions.
This course includes weekly live class sessions on some Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings. Specific dates and times are shared once the course begins.
