The Center for Talent Development (CTD) Online Programs draw on decades of experience in gifted education, offer challenge and choice, and let students explore subjects or move at a pace that isn't always available in a traditional school environment.
Here are some answers to frequently asked questions.
Are These Courses Personalized?
Unlike the "click and next" format of some virtual education programs, CTD's Online Program courses are designed and led by expert instructors who provide personalized learning guidance, feedback, and one-on-one attention.
What Is Pacing Like? Asynchronous vs Synchronous?
Online courses at CTD come in multiple forms.
Some are live online, during which students work collaboratively in real time. Others are ‘asynchronous’ to fit the needs of students who need to move at their own pace or plan assignments around extracurricular activities and other schedule conflicts. In asynchronous courses, the teacher will provide pacing recommendations to help students stay on track.
Is CTD Accredited?
Accreditation represents educational quality and a commitment to continuous improvement. CTD has worked hard to achieve and maintain accreditation through Cognia® as a Nonpublic-Supplementary school.
