Enrichment Programming Online

Enrichment courses at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development (CTD) give gifted and advanced students opportunities to focus on specific areas of study within a community of peers, guided by an expert instructor. CTD's online classes are designed to emphasize higher order thinking, facilitate creative thinking, and provide earlier exposure to advanced concepts in developmentally appropriate ways. They're great for home school curriculum or as a supplement to school activities.
Online enrichment courses, which are available asynchronously, complement school-based curriculum by extending student learning to real world problems. CTD's virtual learning is fun and designed for kids, but most importantly, students develop their scholar identity, learn to take intellectual risks, engage in more advanced content as they progress in school, and continue to deepen their love for learning.

Remote learning isn’t new to us. It’s been part of CTD's programming for 40 years, starting with correspondence by mail courses. Now, as experts in online learning, we offer high-quality education—whether virtual learning is a choice or a requirement.
You can’t always get to the class. But the class can come to you. Our online courses help students find their path from anywhere in the world.
