Online Writing Workshop (3-5)

This is a 6-week, asynchronous, flexibly paced course within the Online Enrichment Program. Students should expect 2-5 hours of course work per week. This course takes place January 31 - March 13, 2024.

Learn about the many elements of crafting a good story! Through this collaborative course, students will be guided in a choosing a genre and writing an original story, and have an opportunity to revise their work at multiple stages from the workshop process. Course work will address fundamentals of writing, including analysis of characters, plot, and setting as well as grammar rules and effective sentence and paragraph development. Writing completed throughout the week will be discussed in real time online class sessions.

This course includes weekly live class sessions at least twice per week. Specific dates and times are shared once the course begins.
